Persuing art his whole life, he graduated with a BA hons in Animation from the University of Wolverhampton and spent a decade in Irish animation industry before stepping away for parenthood.

Since then he has exhibited art in the RHA, solo exhibitions, and nationally.

Living in North County Dublin. Stephen is drawn to capture the quiet monuments of life for him in Ireland. Old vernacular buildings that record the past like shabby clocks. Distinct trees binding the ground. The coast and countryside steeped in history and the birds that live amongst the wilderness.
